EXODUS 90 RECEIVES MAJOR GRANT FROM OSV INSTITUTE

Huntington, Ind. (Oct. 23, 2018) — One of the fastest-growing movements for men in the U.S. Catholic Church has received a significant grant from the Our Sunday Visitor Institute.

Exodus 90, which guides men on a 90-day journey to prayer, fasting and brotherhood, was launched in 2016 at Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland by Fr. Brian Doerr. To date, more than 7,000 men have participated in the program — including men from across the globe.

“Now more than ever, the Church needs men who are free from the chains of technology, alcohol and whatever else keeps us from the Lord,”

said James Baxter, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Exodus 90.

The grant will cover the costs of research to determine the depth of the impact the program is making on its thousands of users. With the research results, Baxter and his team will be more equipped to expand on the program’s success and prepare for significant growth in the coming years.

True to the vision of its founder, Archbishop John Francis Noll, profits made from OSV’s printing and publishing is not only reinvested in the Church, but intentionally appropriated to causes that will make the most impact. Over $75 million has been invested in the Church from the OSV Institute since its founding in support of thousands of initiatives and events.
